The WMCB Series Wire to Board waterproof connector is designed for small applications that require resistance to water ingress.
Originally developed for automotive ultra-wideband (UWB) model applications, this Waterproof 2.0mm pitch connector features an intuitive anti vibration and CPA (Connector Position Assurance) spring design with excellent operational characteristics.
Available in 4 and 8 circuit variations, the WMCB Connector has a current rating of 3Amps and an operating temperature range of -40OC to +105OC.

Connector variation
The connector is available in two variations;
Water-proof grade
- Incorporating a JST dual seal format design.
Secondary retainer – Terminal position assurance (TPA)
- The Secondary Retainer or TPA feature ensures that the crimped contact has been inserted fully into the housing. It's a feature that aids the production/assembly process where it is not always easy to check that the crimped contact has been inserted correctly into the housing.
Secure locking device - Connector Position Assurance (CPA)
- The housing has a locking feature that prevents accidental disconnection due to restricted wire routing or high environmental vibration.
Robust contact design
- The 0.50 (020) crimp terminal box design incorporates a 4-point construction which offers a high degree of interface performance under conditions of vibration, distortion, low voltage or low current.
