The JST WMC Series is a 1.8mm and 2.0mm (4 circuit) pitch sealed waterproof wire to wire connector, developed in miniaturisation and is suitable for small spaces. This connector incorporates a CPA (Connector Position Assurance) that prevents incomplete connector mating.
Primarily developed for door sensors for automotive applications and meets USCAR requirements, this connector has a waterproof rating of IP67.
The WMC Connector is a 2, 4 & 8 circuit sealed connector, with a current rating of 3Amps and operating temperature range of -40OC to +125OC.

Conforming to Automotive Standard
- This waterproof connector conforms to USCAR standard.
Miniaturisation
- 0.50 terminal with 1.8mm pitch for 2 and 8 circuits, and 2.0mm pitch for 4 circuit connectors.
Secondary retainer – Terminal position assurance (TPA)
- The Secondary Retainer or TPA feature ensures that the crimped contact has been inserted fully into the housing. It's a feature that aids the production/assembly process where it is not always easy to check that the crimped contact has been inserted correctly into the housing.
Incomplete Mating Detection Mechanism
- Mis-insertion and insertion error at the assembly line can be detected by audible and tactile feeling of CPA clicking.
Secure locking device
- The housing has a locking feature that prevents accidental disconnection due to restricted wire routing or high environmental vibration.
UL94V-0 Material
- In response to increasingly stringent requirements for flammability, this connector systems utilises a resin that supports UL94V-0.
